I have the solution to the stupid horrific beeping.You unscrew the black box in the underbelly of the fan light. To unscrew it you have to use a tiny wrench to undo the cap / nut on the opposite side of the screw where the fan is (no amount of strength will unscrew the screw without this step).Pry open the black box.Find the round black thing the arrow is pointing to in my photo. This is the speaker. Pry it off at the base with a tiny flathead screw driver. Put everything back together and voila.Other than having to do that to keep from going insane the light is nice although very bright. Also it does not hook up to a separate wall switch for the light vs fan, only one switch to turn everything on and off.
