The only issue with installing LED in a BMW is that you will get a warning that you have a burnt bulb. The reason is because BMW measure the current use by the bulb, and since LED consume very little power, it report that the bulb is bad. To overcome this issue you will have to use a resistor to compensate the difference. I however chose not to do that but programmed my car to ignore checking that particular LED bulbs, which is used as daytime driving light and high beam flashing. The normal headlight and high beam use different Xenon HID bulbs.Easy to install and have high lumens.Easy to install.I was accepting of the proformance of this item.So far the item appears to have the staying power as expected.HorribleDeeper than the oem halogen, but a drill made it fit the housing perfectly. Used to convert halogen headlights to led on a Yamaha golf cart.Took about 5 try’s purchasing H1 led bulbs before I found one that fit. Right length, right width, right base, perfect OEM match. And the right color. These can be used as headlights as long as you have a second lamp for high beams which I do and so I ordered another pair for the highs. As for longevity we shall see. Will update if they don’t last.Clear bright but only lasted about two yearsGreat lights easy to install. I put them on my valance fog lights.
